CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) is an integral part of Dumarey Powerglide’s long-term strategy and business model.
Taking into account societal, social and environmental issues is an important aspect of our future development, our action plans and our support for our customers and partners.
This is reflected not only in our values, but also in our actions, particularly in the development and manufacture of products to support “green” mobility, with a focus on electrified vehicles powered by renewable energies such as hydrogen.
Since the 1990s, Dumarey Powerglide has pursued an environmental policy aimed at preserving natural resources and reducing the most significant impacts on the environment, based on the company’s environmental analysis.
As part of its long-term vision, the company is committed to a proactive strategy of reducing its carbon footprint. To this end, it has identified objectives linked to scopes 1, 2 and 3, and is carrying out actions dedicated to each of these areas. PPS also aims to reduce its Scope 1 and 2 carbon footprint by 40% by 2030, then by 80% in 2040, and its Scope 3 carbon footprint by 10% in 2030, then by 40% in 2040. The company is aiming for carbon neutrality by 2050. All these initiatives are fully in line with the commitments made by the French government for 2050.

Health and Safety at work
Occupational health and safety is a top priority for Dumarey Powerglide. It has two main objectives: to protect the health of its employees and contractors, and to improve their safety in the workplace.
These objectives are part of a continuous improvement approach to our Occupational Health and Safety management system in order to :
- provide healthy and safe working conditions to prevent work-related accidents and illnesses
- eliminate hazards and mitigate occupational health and safety risks.
All our actions and indicators are based on shared vigilance and are certified to ISO 45001.
Dumarey Powerglide places quality at the heart of its know-how and at every stage in the life of its products, with the aim of satisfying its customers.
Quality objectives are defined each year with the aim of structuring and constantly improving the solutions provided by Dumarey Powerglide, and to further develop its Quality Management System.
To guarantee optimum quality for gearboxes and automotive components, each employee contributes to the quality approach and the application of the principles of the Dumarey Manufacturing System (DMS) based on Lean Manufacturing.
Dumarey Powerglide is IATF 16949 certified.
